Here is a place to visit and find out Ayden's most recent developments and what's going on in the Buchanan Household. Thanks for visiting and enjoy the blog!
Bob and I have been married for a little over 5 years. We have been dating since the end of high school and have been experiencing life since. We have 2 dogs Deeogee and Koda, and our newest addition and blessing in the family is our 2 year old sweetheart, Ayden James.
Its really hard to know what to do...cry it out? rock them? its hard. caroline talks herself to sleep and she will stand up and talk and jump in her crib for about 10 minutes but she doesn't cry anymore. at first she did and i would go in and lay her down and just comfort her with my hand. never picking her up. this made me feel better and i think it made her feel better too. does he have a blankie or anything? as soon as caroline got a blankie she started to feel really comforted and only really needed that. that might help....it will get easier. I PROMISE. :(
Jack used to do that same crawl, dragging one leg under his body. I thought something was wrong with him but it corrected itself:) As for the sleeping...I am probably not the best person to ask. I am a firm believer in letting them cry. It usually only takes one rough night and then they are great on their own, but it's really hard to do! I agree with Sara about a comfort thing like a blankie or a stuffed animal. Jack has a bear that he cannot sleep without and Brookie has a blanket but she doesn't rely on it yet. It does get better:)
