DaDa

Ayden seemed to love his first Christmas. I cannot believe he is already 9 months old!!! He had a lot of gifts from Santa to open. On Christmas morning, Bob and I gave him some gifts and just like we thought he tore the wrapping paper and then put the paper in his mouth. He seemed to really love the taste of that paper and was not as interested in what was in the package. He opened about 3 gifts and then went on and did his own thing. So needless to say Bob opened the other gifts for him.
About 2 weeks ago Ayden began to say Dada. He just started blurting out DADADADA. It was so cute and I was so jealous. It became a non-stop thing and that is all he kept saying. I knew it would be his first word though because Bob was so persistent in saying Dada to him ever since he was born. Once he got the Dada down, he began to say ma. Sometimes it comes out a little different, but we know what he is saying. All in all, we love that he is saying dada and mama.
Here are some pics from Christmas morning.

Here is a picture of Ayden propping up his bottle on the ottoman so that he can drink it. It was so funny when Bob and I saw this.

Here is Ayden in his first car...he loves it!

Our Future Baseball Player

So, once again I am late in updating my blog. Well, Thanksgiving was fun...it was really nice to see everyone. Ayden had a great time and just enjoyed everyone playing with him. He is just so much fun. He loves to play ball now. So we throw him a little ball, he picks it up (left handed just like his father) and throws it back to you. He really has an arm, he wings the ball right to you. Hopefully he will love to play baseball like Bob. Once he throws it, he gets really excited as he claps and laughs. I love it. It is very amusing.

We are now getting ready for Christmas. We put up the decorations and the tree now. I really thought Ayden would love the lights on the tree and would constantly be pulling at the branches, but he really has been very good with it. He definitely knows it is there, but just goes along his business and plays around it. We will be having Christmas at our house this year with my family and Bob's family. I am sure Ayden will love his first Christmas, especially all the toys he will be getting.

Here are some pics from Thanksgiving and some other ones of our cutie.
